1. Shipito is not responsible for packages which cannot be sent internationally (restricted items like firearms or over-sized packages). Such packages will be stored for 45 days. If acceptable transportation or return of package cannot be found the goods will be destroyed. We are not responsible for the actual shipping service. All terms and conditions of selected shipping service applies to customer. Shipito serve as shipping agent only with maximum responsiblity in the amount of handling fees (excluding actual shipping).
2. Storage of packages: Individual packages must be ready (paid postage and completed customs info) for forwarding within 7 days. Shipito will notify customer about a new package by email. Customer must pay postage fees within 7 days. Otherwise Shipito.com will charge $8.50 per month for storage of each package. Virtual mailboxes allow free storage for up to 45 days.
3. Indiviual packages are sent in their original packaging(as they are received). When ordering from online stores be aware that especially big purchases might be divided into several packages. You will be paying $8.50 per each individual package. If the package must be divided into two packages (for example oversize package) you will pay $8.50 for each package. Individual packages do not allow for consolidation.
4. VIRTUAL MAILBOX - allows for consolidation of packages. We will take several packages and consolidate into a larger box. That way the customer saves on postage.
5. Customer must make payments for postage and deposit payments from his/her own account(s), the acount must be under the same name as the Shipito.com account. Shipito.com reserves the right to request valid identification and a copy of the credit card(s) used for payment.
6. Customer must supply virtual mailbox number on each package . Once your account is activated you will receive information about the address and box number in which to send your packages.
7. Customer authorizes Shipito to open packages if there is a suspicion about content of the package (illegal goods) or any practical reason (package is damaged or oversized and needs to be re-packed).
8. Payment for virtual mailbox is good for 12 months and is not refundable. Payment for deposit or postage is refundable. We charge $5 administrative fee and cost of refund (for example cost of wire transfer).
