How much does it cost to ship package to my country?
We offer inexpensive USPS Express or Priority Mail. We also offer shipping by FedEx with huge discounts. You will receive an exact shipping quote once we get your package and we can meassure and weight it. To see an quote to send package to your country please use our Shipping Calculator. Enter your country, weight of package and ZIP codes. We also offer shipping by container (limited countries). You can select how each package will be sent. Just login to your account and change shipping method. Postage is automatically recalculated.

Can you consolidate my packages into one bigger package?
Yes, we can consolidate package as long you have VIRTUAL MAILBOX plan. If you have signed up for INDIVIDUAL PACKAGES we do not offer consolidation in this plan. Virtual Mailbox cost only $50 per year and you can upgrade anytime. Please use this order form and login using your existing login. Your mailbox number will stay same.

What services do you offer and what are the fees?
We have two easy plans. One for INDIVIDUAL PACKAGES and VIRTUAL MAILBOX. See more details here. You can upgrade to VIRTUAL MAILBOX anytime you want. And you can also downgrade to INDIVIDUAL PACKAGES and pay no monthly fees again. All change can be done on your account. Your mailbox number will remain the same.

We offer other additional services. You can request SPECIAL INSTRUCTION for each package on your account. For example if you want to check that store really included all items in your purchase. Or if you want us to check if package is in good shape (electronics, notebooks, cameras, etc.). Is this a PO BOX address?
Many sellers do not ship to PO BOX addresses. The reason is that FedEx, UPS and DHL do not deliver packages to PO BOX. Our address is not a PO BOX address. We are a regular office building and warehouse staffed with full time employees from 9.00 AM till 6.00 PM Monday till Friday. Therefore there is always someone available to take over incoming packages. Just because part of your address is mailbox or suite number doesn't mean it is a PO BOX address.


Is your service available to customers in my country?
Yes, our service is available for customers anywhere in the world. Please check shipping restrictions for your country (FedEx or USPS).

What if the package is too big for sending by USPS?

If the package is over the weight or size limit for USPS we will send it by FedEx. We have negotiated great discounts with FedEx, but it is still more expensive than USPS, so please be aware of that if are planning to send larger packages. We also offer oversize service for some packages.

How do you fill out custom declaration for each package?

When we receive new packages we will notify you by email. You will need to login to your account there you will see what has been received and you will be able to update information for customs (description, value, etc.). See our tutorial about filling out customs declaration.

Please note, a correctly filled customs declaration is your duty and responsibility. If you are not sure what is inside the package (if the merchant divides one purchase into multiple packages), we can open it and check the content. There is a charge of $8.50 for this service.

Do you provide the COD (Collect on Delivery)?
We can complete assisted purchases for you and forward any package to your home address, however, we do not provide COD forwarding.

Can I receive mail (letters, cataloges, magazines) too?
Yes, but first change setting on your account to receive mail too. Otherwise all mail is discarted.

Please do not send less than $350 by wire transfer. Our bank is charging us $16 incoming wire transfer fee. If you send less than $350 we will have to charge you the fee.

We do not provide IBAN number as it is not used by U.S. banks.

What other payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards (expect high risk countries), Paypal, check/money order and wire transfer. Always submit payments through our order forms only. Just login to your account and click on ADD DEPOSIT.  For payments over $500 please use a wire transfer. The order form will automatically offer accepted payment method.

New accounts have monthly spending limit. Default limit depends on your country. You can see your current limit on your account. Your limit will rise as you will use our services (you will get $10 increase for every sent package or assisted purchase). You can always send us a wire transfer if you want to make bigger purchase (deposit paid by wire transfer is not included in the monthly spending limit) . You can also increase the limit by providing notarized form 1583 and two copies of your id (see the form 1583 on your account). Original notarized FORM 1583 will increase your limit by 50%.


How will Shipito know the package is mine?
As soon as you complete the order, we will assign a box number to you. You can use this box number with your name and our address as the shipping address. It usually takes one day to process your order and assign a box number to you.

Should notify Shipito about any incoming packages?
You don't have to notify us of any incoming packages. We will notify you by email as soon as we receive the package because it's necessary to fill the customs declaration (description, value and item count).

How to change my shipping address or customs declaration?

Log in to your account on www.shipito.com/account. You can do everything from your account.


What is the deposit for?
If you would like to use our services more frequently, you can pre-pay postage by using the deposit option.  This way you don't have to pay for every package separately.

Are there any hidden fees?
We have straightforward pricing. The only fee, which can be considered as "hidden" is the bank fee. We are charged for incoming wire transfers and credit card payments, so we charge our customers a 4.3% surcharge on postage or assisted purchases. We don't charge the fee on payments for our services, but only for shipping cost. The reason is that sometimes postage can be expensive. For example postage for one package can cost $200. We charge $8.50 our fee for forwarding the package. But the credit card company will charge us 4.3% for any incoming international payment, so we will receive only $8.50 and pay $8.60 in bank fees. The fee is charged even if you later ask for refund. The fee cover the cost of receiving the banking charges.

Can I add an additional name on the account?

Yes, you can. There is no additional cost. Just add them on your account under OTHER NAMES. These must be real persons and we reserve the right to require notarized 1583 form and two copies of ID for additional persons.

What is the link for paying postage and deposit?

Login to your acccount where you will see your current balance and link for paying an additional deposit. Or use this direct link for paying postage.

What if my account is on security hold?

We do not allow other person credit cards or Paypal accounts to be used on payment on your account. If we see other person card or Paypal were used your account will be closed.

There are few legitimate exceptions and we allow them only if you provide notarized form 1583 from both you (account owner) and person making payments on your account. The form must be notarized and mailed (original) to us with two copies of ID (driver license, passport). We also require copy (front and back) of credit card used for payments.

Another reason when we might ask for 1583 from, copy of  ID and copy of cards is when billing and mail forwarding addresses don't match or your address is in the country, where we experienced high rate of fraud.

If you don't feel comfortable providing copies of ID and credit cards we can allow your account to accept only cashier/bank check or wire transfer payments.

If we receive chargeback and it is found out that third party credit card or Paypal was used your account will be closed immediately.

Store owners please contact us immediately if you are a victim of credit card fraud. When we find out that stolen credit card was used we immediately send packages back to you.
